If you’re a fan of chocolate, this smoothie is such a great, healthier alternative that will still give you that chocolatey flavour that you desire! Made from all natural ingredients, this smoothie is so filling and delicious!


Some notes before you begin:

WHAT IS CACAO?

Considered a superfood, Cacao is derived by cold-pressing unroasted Cocoa beans. Though Cacao powder and Cocoa powder are very similar and come from the same bean, it is believed that Cacao powder is more “pure” and has a higher nutritional value than Cocoa powder as Cocoa powder is more processed. Cacao powder is high in antioxidants and magnesium. Best part? It adds an amazing chocolatey flavour to your smoothies!

MILK:

I like to use oat milk but you can use any milk of your choice for this recipe.
